Les Âmes Perdues is an Antwerp-based queer music theater collective inspired and embodied by Naomi Beeldens (soprano, recorder, percussion), Isaak Duerinck (keys, accordion, vocals) and Ewout Lehoucq (cello, vocals).

The three singers, multi-instrumentalists, and creators move playfully between classical repertoire, queer cabaret, and hybrid music theater. They skillfully blur the boundaries between genres, driven by a shared love of language and nostalgia, always using a unique musical dramaturgy as their starting point. Their performances sometimes fit in the trunk of a car and sometimes burst at the seams.

Les Âmes Perdues loves Renaissance dance, Francis “Poupoule” Poulenc, plastic fish, Dalida, rummage sales, Agatha/Ann Christie/y, bats, brown cafés, tours de chants and Parisian revues, nuns, camp, and—secretly—the Belgian Royal Family.

Despite their French-sounding name, Les Âmes Perdues are not from Wallonia. ​
