A new-urban update of the Antwerp Songbook

In *Fortuyne, wat hebdy ghebrouwen*, Les Âmes Perdues dives into the Antwerp Songbook, a collection of Antwerp folk songs that was published in 1544 by the Antwerp printer Jan Roelans: “A beautiful book of songs in which you will find many different songs, old and new, to drive away sadness and melancholy.”

In that gigantic musical treasure chest, Les Âmes Perdues went in search of the minor characters in Antwerp's history.
Did we find them? Maybe…

Will it be a wild trip? A medieval yet postmodern performance? Past polyvalent thickets, intoxicating bean stakes, leather and goose feathers, good music and pubescent pages? You bet!
